    defeating John Cena on 06/06/11 in New York, NY;
    WWE restarts ECW as its television show.

*** June 11, 2007 the ECW title was vacated on RAW due to Lashley being drafted there.
Johnny Nitro defeated CM Punk at Vengeance. He officially changed his name to John Morrison
on the July 17, 2007 edition of ECW. Title began to be referred to as the ECW Championship during reign.

**** The title remained on the ECW brand until June 23, 2008, when the then-champion, Kane, was drafted to the Raw brand, as a part of the 2008 WWE Draft, in the process making the title RAW exclusive.
